This is not an emerging social phenomenon, but with the rise of social ** and the increasing complexity of interpersonal relationships, its forms and means have gradually evolved and upgraded.
Practitioners of PUA are often good at taking advantage of the weaknesses of human nature and making the target person fall into the whirlpool of emotions through carefully planned "routines", so as to achieve the goal of controlling the other party.
They are good at observing words and feelings, and can quickly capture the psychological needs and emotional gaps of the other party in a short interaction, and then use superb speech skills to gradually guide the other party into their preset emotional framework.
In the context of PUA, both actions and words are given special meaning and purpose. A simple eye contact, which could be a cue, a subtle body language, could be a signal.
