Why many people "sell" villas and "move back" to the upper floors
When many people are young, they will catch a glimpse of these magnificent houses in film and television works, and the desire to buy a home will quietly sprout in their hearts. With the passage of time and the impact of reality, although some people may have given up on this dream, there are still people who cling to it and work hard for it.
With the rapid expansion of the city, high-rise buildings have sprung up, but in the midst of this prosperity, the scarcity of land resources has become increasingly prominent, and villas and low-rise bungalows have become more and more precious. Townhouses are like rare treasures, and the high ** is out of reach. In many people's minds, villas undoubtedly represent the ultimate luxury of residence.
However, as housing prices continue to rise, the total price of high-rise residential buildings in urban areas is gradually approaching that of suburban villas, and the boundaries between villas and ordinary residences are becoming more and more blurred. While this phenomenon makes homeless people despair, for those who work hard and earn well, they see the light of day when their dream of homeownership can be realized.
I remember that when a friend was planning to buy a house in 2017, he found that the total price of a 140-square-meter high-rise residential building in the urban area had reached 3 million yuan. In comparison, the total price of a suburban villa located on the side of the Fourth Ring Road, which is only 20 kilometers from the city center, is only about 3.5 million yuan, and the single-family villa is only about 5 million yuan. It made his heart flutter. Although the fourth ring road is more remote, the grade gap between villas and high-rise residences is obvious. In a similar situation, he did not hesitate to choose a villa in the suburbs.
Nowadays, this is not uncommon. In many cities with higher housing prices, the total price of some large houses in the urban area is comparable to the total price of a suburban villa. This fact undoubtedly attracts many buyers to the suburbs to view properties. As my friend said, the difference between the grades of townhouses and skyscrapers is too great to be compared at all. As a result, in recent years, quite a number of developers have launched a number of villa projects in urban areas to attract home buyers, and sales have performed well.
However, as far as I know, many people who buy a villa in the suburbs end up regretting it and choose to sell the villa and move back to the high-rise building. Why did the previous assumptions come to fruition? Veterans revealed: three factors make the villa dream come to naught.
i.The gap between dreams and reality.
In the eyes of many people, the villa is magnificent, and the servants are like clouds, as if the film and television works show the aristocratic mansion. But art often transcends reality, and the villa under the lens becomes a symbol of wealth and power, far from our ordinary life. For most families looking for a high quality of life, villas mean a haven of warmth and comfort, not the glitz and glamour of the silver screen.
Far from being as perfect as in movies and television, property management in a real villa community is a simple and practical service. Entering such a life, the initial novelty and excitement will fade over time, and will be replaced by the loss of facing the gap between reality and ideals. Especially when the property service is not satisfactory and the community atmosphere is becoming increasingly dull, the melancholy can even remind people of old houses in the suburbs. Of course, there will always be priceless mansions in the world, but that is already the exclusive property of a few rich people, just like there is a big gap between a house of four or five million in the suburbs of Zhengzhou and a house of more than 100 million.
ii - The Heavy Duty of Update.
Take, for example, a friend I know who spent more than $4 million on a villa, but it was a humble house. Although the builder provides the owner with free renovation space, the renovation cost of a three-story villa of about 500 square meters is by no means a small amount. If you want to create an ideal home, the renovation cost of two or three million yuan is probably just a starting point.
Today, many task salaried people can finally afford to own a villa in the suburbs after working tirelessly. However, the stress of a down payment and a loan often makes it difficult for them to afford the huge renovation costs after buying a home. Even if you can't afford the renovation due to a limited budget, the results are often unsatisfactory, and it is even more difficult to achieve the luxury presented in film and television productions. Therefore, if you live in an ordinary villa for a long time, the original high quality of life will gradually disappear.
The third factor: most of the dwellings are located in remote areas and the living conditions are not ideal.
Land in bustling urban areas is scarce and expensive, so most villas have to be built in remote areas away from the city. While these houses are relatively inexpensive and favored by the working class, their location is a big issue.
Some people may say that people who can afford to buy a home naturally have a car to get around. It is true that many families now own cars, but cars do not completely solve the problem of comfortable living. Even without taking into account restrictions on cars, the travel time between a remote villa and a workplace in the city is quite long. In addition, due to the remote location of the villa, the travel problems of the elderly and children, as well as the daily shopping and leisure needs, have become less convenient. Being away from the educational resources of a quality school is also a considerable inconvenience, especially for children.
Therefore, although the villa is spacious and tranquil, its remote location fundamentally restricts the comfort of its residence. As a result, more and more people are choosing to abandon their villas and move back to the city's high-rise buildings.
Large luxury apartment communities in urban areas offer a living experience that is not inferior to villas, but in some respects even better. Despite being expensive, large apartments are more functional in size and more elaborately decorated compared to villas. In addition, the large apartment is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and complete supporting facilities, so that children can enjoy high-quality educational resources.
So, between a villa and a large city apartment, which one would you choose?
