I would like to ask His Holiness: How many kinds of practitioners are there in the world? Please let me know. ”
He said, "There are four kinds of practitioners, and there is no fifth, and I, as an eyewitness, will tell you about these four true practitioners. They are: the victors, the demonstrators, the ordained ones, and the defilementers. ”
Ask: "Venerable, what kind of person is the victorious one?" What is a Prophet? And then tell me, what is a dirty one? ”
His Holiness replied, "To eliminate doubts, to get rid of suffering, to enjoy nirvana, to renounce greed, to be the guru of the human realm and the divine realm, to call such a person a victor. In this world, those who know what the supreme is and who preach and expound the Dharma are the demonstrators of the second type of practitioner who cuts off doubts and abandons desires. Following the Dharma, articulating the path of life, self-control, concentration, and blameless speech, these third types of practitioners are the ones who are destined for the path. Those who pretend to be virtuous, reckless and abrupt, insult their family, are bold, hypocritical and deceitful, cannot control themselves, chew their tongues a lot, and pretend to be pretending to be dirty. When family members, students of sages, learned people, and wise people learn about these four types of practitioners, and when they see these four types of practitioners like this, they will not abandon their beliefs. How can they treat the noble and the lowly, the pure and the unclean? ”
