According to the county chronicles, Taolu, the magistrate of the Ming Dynasty, built the city wall and dug a ditch outside the city wall to form the Huicheng River, which survived in the lives of the Xinhui people for nearly 600 years. It begins at the upper shallow mouth and ends at the mouth of the river to join the Tan River. In 1995, Gangzhou Avenue was built to cover the Huicheng River, and the Huicheng River has since faded out of people's memory.

In 1995, the coverage project of the Huicheng River started, and after Feng Chiyou's eldest brother learned the information, he immediately rushed to the scene to shoot the Huicheng River from the mouth of the river to the upper shallow mouth for several kilometers, which consumed nearly 10 pieces of film (more than 300 photos), especially nearly 10 cement bridges, iron bridges, and simple bridges across the Huicheng River, leaving valuable image data for the changes in the urban appearance of his hometown. Today, Brother Feng selflessly shared and made the old photos of the year public, so that we can follow the lens of Brother Feng and re-appreciate the scenery on both sides of the thousand-year-old city of Huicheng River.

Dongjiao Bridge is located in front of the current Dongjia archway, the bridge near the river road is on both sides of the slope car on the bridge, in the middle is the ladder pedestrian on the bridge. Therefore, this bridge passes through the two villages of Dongjia and Dajiao, so it is called Dongjiao Bridge. In addition to the cement bridge, in order to facilitate the people's travel, there is a kind of steel temporary bridge on the Huicheng River, one is at the intersection of the most Leli intersection across the Huicheng River to Henan Yulan Street, and the other is called Xianzhou Bridge, which is located on the west side of the intersection of Gangzhou Avenue and Zhongxin Road. There is also one from Gangzhou Road across the Huicheng River to Yuqinglili. (close to Niudiao Gang).
