Tengwang Pavilion, located on the east bank of the Ganjiang River in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, China, is an ancient building with profound historical and cultural heritage, whose history can be traced back to the early years of the Tang Dynasty. It was originally founded by Li Yuanying, the son of Tang Gaozu Li Yuan and the younger brother of Tang Taizong Li Shimin, when he was the governor of Hongzhou in the fourth year of Tang Yonghui (653 AD), and has a history of more than 1,300 years.

Historically, the Tengwang Pavilion has experienced the rise and fall, due to wars, natural disasters and the erosion of time, it has undergone as many as 29 times of reconstruction and repair. This pavilion has witnessed the prosperity and development of ancient Chinese culture, and each reconstruction is a reflection of the artistic style and technical level of the time. Among them, the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Bo wrote the "Preface to the Pavilion of King Teng" in his youth, which is famous all over the world, and this literary treasure has endowed the Pavilion with eternal cultural charm.

Since ancient times, the Tengwang Pavilion has been repeatedly destroyed and built, symbolizing the indomitable spirit of the Chinese nation and the cherishing of traditional culture. The main building of the existing Tengwang Pavilion was carefully rebuilt in 1989 according to the traditional style, and it is as high as 575 meters, not only inherited the artistic characteristics of ancient buildings, but also became the landmark landscape of Nanchang City and even the entire Jiangnan region, and Hunan Yueyang Tower, Hubei Yellow Crane Tower and known as the "three famous buildings in the south of the Yangtze River", but also one of the "China's top ten historical and cultural buildings", carrying rich historical memory and cultural heritage.
