After countless live broadcasts of the military parade on Red Square, I found that the workload in 2023 was relatively small. This is thanks to the work I have done in the equipment part, and the number and model of the most advanced equipment dispatched in this military parade have reached a record high.
In order to save troops, it is not uncommon to show a pocket version of the parade on Victory Day in Russia. This is due to the fact that heavy fighting is taking place in the Mut and front-line areas, and air strike capabilities and land combat capabilities need to be tilted more towards the front.
Although the demonstration on Red Square is only a small part of the troops, it is enough to demonstrate Russia's ability and determination.
Second, it is safe and reliable. While there are various crises in Moscow at the moment, especially before the military parade, drones attacked the Kremlin. Therefore, if a large-scale parade is conducted, especially in terms of the number of personnel, the size of equipment and the air echelon, it may encounter various unforeseen circumstances.
However, if the air echelon can take off on time and arrive on time, then simultaneous take-off and landing at the same airport or multiple airports will become the norm. However, it should be noted that during take-off and landing, the first altitude of the fighter is low, and the second speed is slow, which makes it easy to be attacked by light air defense equipment.
Therefore, we need to ensure the safety and reliability of the air echelon.
Ukraine has previously used Tu-141 drones and UJ-22 drones to attack facilities such as Engels airbase, Diaghilevo base, etc. In this state, the adoption of drones or other combat operations, with penetration and close attacks at its core, can have a significant impact on the take-off and landing of aircraft in the air.
This is an important requirement for stability and reliability. In addition, judging by the capabilities of the equipment demonstrated, they have almost all the functions of a small device.
History and modernity meet here, with T-34 tanks driving alone, and Yars missiles at the heart of Russia's strategic strike capabilities. These two important elements from 78 years ago and 78 years later met on Red Square.
From the tactical-level "Tiger" armored vehicles to the strategic-level "Yars" missiles, all levels of equipment have been fully displayed, and conventional and nuclear capabilities have been combined to form a comprehensive military system.
Despite the small number of equipment, the entire Red Square demonstrated a comprehensive combination of military forces at different levels.
At this parade, although the T-14, T-72, T-80 and T-90 did not appear, two new vehicles were presented, one of which was the VPK-Ural.
Although this model is not highly recognizable, it has a high ability to resist mines and ambushes. The VPK-Ural is an upgrade on the basis of an armored truck, with an increase in tire diameter and height above the ground, which reduces the impact on the underbody of the vehicle with TNT explosives**.
This car adopts a special V-shaped body structure, which can effectively reduce the damage of the shock wave to the people in the car, so it has a very high life rescue ability on the battlefield.
And the "Akhmat" is an armored car of 6 6, the design of which took only twenty-five days, and the development time is only one-seventh to one-tenth of the "Typhoon" armored car.
For the first time, the car was equipped with the battalion "Akhmut" of Chechen armed forces in Ukraine, hence the name. Judging by the way it is named, the car really played an important role at the front.
The equipment displayed in this military parade is the latest equipment that has been deeply improved and adapted to extreme conditions. The compression of the parade time and the reduction in the number of equipment indicate Russia's ability to radiate the perimeter from the base point of Red Square.
In the current Russia-Ukraine conflict and Western pressure, the practical significance of the parade is more than what is shown.
In this parade on Red Square, we have adopted a scaled-down display, which can not only show our goodwill, but also reduce the level of excitement, and at the same time save troop resources.
It was these factors that made this parade the least workload I have ever had since I participated in the live broadcast of the parade on Red Square. I expect that next year's parade on Red Square will return to what it used to be, so that we will have more opportunities to explain in detail the quantity, performance and characteristics of the equipment.
