The "bright-hearted" mentioned in Shanglian's "Bright-hearted Thousand Zhangji" means that it is bright-minded, broad-minded, fair and selfless, not favoritism, no intimacy, no impartiality. Whether a big family has a good family style, as the head of the family style and cultivation is very important, if you can do it with a bright heart, then, family members will learn and imitate the practice of the elders. Even if there are temporary conflicts and frictions in the family, it is easier to deal with; Even if there is a "thousand zhang" of fire, if the elders can level the level of the bowl of water and do some ideological work fairly and justly, the contradictions will be quickly resolved and dissipated, and the family will be restored to harmony.
Therefore, the upper part of this couplet is the center of gravity of the whole couplet, as long as the main members of the family can be bright-hearted, then the relationship between father and son, brother, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, husband and wife, etc., will be easy to handle. The "four seasons of family harmony" mentioned in the lower joint can become inevitable. The so-called "four seasons" refer to the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. As long as the family is harmonious, the family will be warm as spring all year round. Everyone gets along in harmony, thinks in one place, works hard in one place, and the whole family is twisted into a rope and works together, and there will be a good situation of "everything is prosperous".
