On the morning of December 28, 16 representatives of outstanding entrepreneurs of three generations of old, middle-aged and young people served as torchbearers, and a running group composed of members of the party and government leadership team of Ronggui Street and business representatives jointly completed a torch relay. This torch relay has special meaning from route planning to torch design. But what is more "burning" and warmer is that they are not only Ronggui industrial leaders, entrepreneurial pioneers, but also female entrepreneurs, new citizen entrepreneurs, and young entrepreneurs.
A few days later, on January 1, 2024, Ronggui Street, Shunde District, will host the first A1 all-marathon event certified by the Chinese Athletics Association in Foshan.

The venue of the marathon torch relay was selected in 1959, only 100 meters away, and in 1978, China's first "three to one supplement" enterprise was born - Dajin Garment Factory.

At the scene, Wu Lei, deputy secretary of the Shunde District Party Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Ronggui Street, lit the first torch and handed it to Lu Qiqi, the leader of Ronggui Industry and the founder of Wanhe Group, members of the party and government leadership team of Ronggui Street, and enterprise representatives to form a running group in place.

The torch relay of the day followed the riverside road, passed by Rongsheng, which had just passed its 40th anniversary, and finally arrived at the Industrial Development Hall. The whole route is not only the epitome of Ronggui's industrial development, but also the section of the marathon track around Ronggui Island in Shunde. Full length 45 kilometers represents a total of 45 years of reform and development from 1978 to 2023.
The terminal fire ceremony is located in the Industrial Development Hall. With 16 entrepreneur representatives as torchbearers, as well as a running group composed of members of the party and government leadership team of Ronggui Street and business representatives, Sun Lingfeng, president of Ronggui Junior Chamber of Commerce, lit the torch platform at the finish station.
On the stone opposite the torch stand, seven characters are engraved with "development is the last word".
