In order to prevent accidents in kindergartens and improve the safety awareness and first aid ability of nursery teachers, on January 4, Yujiahe Kindergarten in Yuechi County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province launched a "first aid response" competition for nursery teachers. While emphasizing the improvement of childcare skills, it provides a platform for childcare teachers to express themselves.
The assessment of the nursery teachers' "first aid response" competition implements a lottery system, and the assessment is divided into six parts, namely: nosebleeds, foreign bodies into the nose, heat stroke, febrile convulsions, Heimlich first aid, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The nursery teachers showed their professional demeanor with a serious attitude, good mental outlook, and skilled operation skills.
The first is nosebleeds and foreign bodies entering the nose. Nursery teachers help children stop bleeding by calming their emotions and using first aid knowledge, as well as trying to teach children to remove or help children remove foreign bodies. Next, the participating nursery teachers performed the Heimlich maneuver and dictated the CPR process. Nursery teachers use the Heimlich method and the "back slapping method". The mantra "rock, paper, scissors" is used to demonstrate the correct procedure of the Heimlich maneuver and the specific steps of CPR. Finally, the participating nursery teachers conducted the first aid procedures for febrile convulsions and heat stroke, and dictated how to deal with a child in the class if he suddenly had a high fever, or even hyperthermia, convulsions, and convulsions.
After the competition, Director Wu summarized the activity, affirmed the serious and careful work attitude of the nursery teachers, and hoped that the teachers could learn from each other through this competition, learn from each other's strengths, make the work standard, meticulous and efficient, and care for the healthy growth of children with professionalism and love. Through this first-aid competition for nursery teachers, it not only solidifies the professional basic skills of nursery teachers, but also improves the on-site rescue ability of nursery teachers to deal with emergencies and escorts the health of children. The kindergarten will also take this competition as an opportunity to continue to focus on the professional growth of the teacher team and provide a stronger guarantee for the health of children.
