Tsinghua University will hold the 2024 Outstanding Middle School Students Science and Engineering Winter Vacation Classroom and the National Outstanding Middle School Students Humanities and Social Sciences Winter Camp in January next year. It is aimed at senior high school graduates who pursue excellence and have excellent character and learning, and online registration will start on December 28. The winning students will be recommended to the Admissions Office by the relevant faculties.
Tsinghua University's winter vacation activities for middle school students are open to high school graduates who are ambitious, strive for excellence, excellent in character and learning, have comprehensive quality, have consistently excelled and are interested in science and engineering research, and ordinary high school graduates who have subject expertise or innovation potential in the humanities and social sciences. The online registration period is from December 28, 2023 to January 4, 2024. When registering, you need to fill in and submit the application materials online, including the score information certified by the middle school, additional information such as awards and specialties, and the reason for application. The expert group will review the application materials of the students who meet the requirements and determine the list of participants. Both activities will be tested on Reading and Expression (Chinese and English), Mathematics and Logic, Science and Liberal Arts. The winners will be selected based on the campers' application materials, written test results and performance in the camp. The award-winning students will be recommended to the Tsinghua Admissions Office by the relevant faculties.
Tsinghua University emphasized that this event does not charge any participation fees, and the school never holds any form of profit-making training activities related to the event, so middle school students and parents are requested not to believe all kinds of false propaganda, so as not to damage their own rights and interests.
