There are a lot of people who explain the aisles. Some people say: Tao is the law, the law of the operation of all things in nature.
It is also said that the Tao is the law of people's work, and if they follow the law to do things, they will be invincible.
These are actually true, but does it have anything to do with us ordinary people? Can you find a pattern in this?
It's difficult, because the laws are changing, and the Tao Te Ching also says a sentence that everyone knows.
Woe to you, blessing to rely on, blessing, woe to lurk. Who knows the extreme?
That is to say: good and bad come together, I don't know that the extreme of disaster is in **, and behind good things is accompanied by disaster, so no one knows that ** is extreme. No one knows that the extreme of good things becoming bad is **, and they don't know that the worst is **.
Therefore, no one can fully grasp the law and follow the law, only keep learning Xi. Judging the development of things from past experience. It will get better and better.
So far, it is still not clear what the "Tao" has to do with us ordinary people. Truth, morality, the way, is the "Tao" here the same Tao?
The Tao is the way, the very (constant) way. The name can be named, the name is not famous, the beginning of all things without a name, and the name, the mother of all things.
This sentence has the idea of how ordinary people can use the "Tao" to guide themselves to walk more steadily and better.
This speaks of "the Word".Famous, the mother of all things,Is having a name the mother of all things? It can be explained in this way, but the most important thing is that the mother of the "Tao" has anything to do with us?
Of course it matters, because everything, anything, is a process of discovery from nothing, so why is it discovery? And not to make it?Because even if it's a car, it's just that people have discovered steel, found tools, and discovered the energy of these things.
All science is just discovery, because the world is still there, but it has found the laws of operation that have not been discovered. Just like an electric lamp, isn't it also discovered that tungsten filament can burn and glow for a long time in a vacuum?
The reverse is that everything is discovered to begin, and to be named is to have this thing. Because most people don't know what it is, because it's hard to describe it clearly.
It's like an apple, not to say the word "apple", but to say what it is with your mouth, is it difficult to explain clearly. But when you say the word apple, he immediately knows what you're talking about, and that's why "name" is the mother of all things.
All that is found must be named first. So what does this have to do with the Tao?
Let's start with the simple ones. Does anyone do anything with a "purpose", that is, to do it with a purpose, and to get some results. That's the attitude of the officer.
Some people do things at will, go with the flow, and float to **yes**, this is the majority of people, because they have no clear goal, they follow the time every day, drifting at will. I don't know if I ended up in **. This is "no way".
"Wudao" is not very simple, "Youdao" is to set a goal first, from having an idea, to setting a goal with this idea, and what result you want. Then start drying. That's the way to go.
So is the "Tao" of our ordinary people very simple, that is, to set a goal for ourselves, work hard and move forward towards the goal every day, which is our own "road".
If you have a road, then set a goal for yourself in your heart, what kind of person you want to be, what kind of person you don't want to be, and formulate the principle of doing things, which is your "truth".
There is a way, there is reason, then the style of doing things is your "morality", morality is in the eyes of others, you are the way of people, and after you have a reason, the style of doing things.
Many people think that "morality" is done for others to see, that is "etiquette" not real morality, because morality is an act from the heart, not an ornament to be shown to anyone. The "rite" with Tao is etiquette, and the "ceremony" without Tao is performance.
will only work on the surface, and one set on the surface and one set in the heart, that is not morality, that is hypocrisy. There is no way, no reason, and no morality.
