Therefore, buried steel pipelines will face the problem of corrosion, which is generally divided into internal corrosion and external corrosion. The main protection mode of the pipeline at this stage is the anti-corrosion coating and cathodic protection, and the cathodic protection needs to be monitored, and the monitoring is generally manual data collection, and the manual data collection efficiency is very low, the accuracy of the collection is not high, and the data need to be corrected in time, otherwise the data collected is meaningless. In order to break this situation, new intelligent test piles were developed.
As an intelligent device integrating collection and transmission, the intelligent test pile is used for cathodic protection data monitoring of buried steel pipelines, which is mainly used in long-distance transmission pipelines and is an indispensable part of the cathodic protection system. The equipment has GPS positioning function, which can understand the location information of the test pile more accurately, and automatically locate it on the map according to the position of each test pile, so that the location of the measurement point can be found more accurately, and the position and direction of the pipeline can be obtained by connecting all the positions.
Now the intelligent test pile is very mature, and can extend the information content of other models according to different use environments and different needs of use, so that the application range is more extensive, and the environmental conditions are more adaptable. The application of intelligent test piles has promoted the process of intelligent pipelines and made pipeline management more standardized and reasonable.
