Requirements for registration for the Legal Qualification Examination.
1. Persons who meet the following requirements may register for the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination:
1.Nationality of the People's Republic of China;
2.uphold the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, and enjoy the right to vote and to be elected;
3.Have good political and professional qualities and moral character;
4.Have full capacity for civil conduct;
5.Have a full-time bachelor's degree in law from a regular college or university, a bachelor's degree or above in non-law from a full-time regular college and a master's degree in law, a master's degree or above in law, and a bachelor's degree or above in non-law from a full-time ordinary college and a corresponding degree, and have been engaged in legal work for at least three years.
2. Persons with any of the following circumstances must not register for the National Unified Legal Professional Qualification Examination:
1.Those who have been criminally punished for an intentional crime;
2.Those who have been dismissed from public office;
3.Those who have had their lawyers' or notary public's practice certificates revoked;
4.In other circumstances, they must not register for the National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination.
3. Persons who register for the National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination must register in accordance with the following requirements:
1.Online registration. Applicants shall log in to the National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination** within the specified time to register online, truthfully fill in personal information, and submit relevant supporting materials.
2.On-site confirmation. Applicants shall go to the designated place for on-site confirmation, submit relevant supporting materials, and pay the examination fee within the specified time.
3.Exam time and location. The National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination is held once a year, and the specific time and place are to be arranged by the State.
4. The contents of the National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination include:
1.Comprehensive Examination of Legal Knowledge;
2.Legal Practice Exam;
3.Legal English Exam.
5. The passing standards for the National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination are:
1.The passing score of the comprehensive examination of legal knowledge is 108 points;
2.The passing score of the Legal Practice Examination is 90 points;
3.The passing score for the Legal English test is 60 points.
VI. Persons who have passed the National Uniform Legal Profession Qualification Examination may apply for the granting of legal professional qualifications and obtain a lawyer's practice certificate in accordance with law.
