On the morning of December 16th, the "Celebration of the 110th Anniversary of the Founding of the European and American Returned Scholars Association - China World Heritage - Jinhua Baishaxi 36yan Image Exhibition" opened at the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the People's ** Society. In this event, 100 cultural landscape works along Baisha Creek were exhibited, all of which were collected and photographed by members of the European and American Returned Scholars Association in Wucheng District.

Exhibited works. As a social organization just established in August this year, the Wucheng District European and American Scholars Association is an important platform and carrier for uniting the vast number of Wucheng overseas students under the leadership of the Wucheng District Party Committee, with 89 members, and is a young and intellectual returnee group. Having seen the world and understanding the beauty of their hometown, they aimed their cameras at their hometown, full of nostalgia.

Wang Jianbo, president of the Wucheng District European and American Scholars Association, said: "At present, the members of the Wucheng District European and American Scholars Association are returnees from all over the world, and this time the exhibition works in the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the People's ** Society, in addition to the photography works related to the world heritage Baishaxi 36yan, also show the urban scenery works of various counties and cities in Jinhua area, including Jindong District, Yiwu City, Dongyang City, etc. From the planning of the exhibition, the raising of exhibition funds, the shooting of photographic works, the layout of the exhibition site, etc., all the members of the Wucheng District European and American Scholars Association prepared and solved by themselves. After returning to our hometown, our European and American students in Wucheng District will use practical actions to do our part to help our hometown, tell the story of Jinhua, and then go overseas to tell the story of China after we have greater energy. ”
Exhibited works. Jinhua Wucheng is born because of the water, built according to the water, and prospered along the water, Baishaxi Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the southwest of Wucheng District, the downstream section of Jinlan Reservoir, the north of the Wujiang River, along the banks of Baisha River, east of the Baimen line, and west of the polder embankment on the east bank of Baisha River. The total planning area of the scenic area is 97 square kilometers, with a total length of 1669 km, water area 234 square kilometers. In 2020, Baishaxi 36yan successfully passed the seventh batch of world irrigation engineering heritage selection, becoming a "golden business card" of Wucheng.
It is reported that the image exhibition was sponsored by the Wucheng District Committee of the Communist Party of China Jinhua City and the people of Wucheng District, Jinhua City, undertaken by the European and American Scholars Association of Wucheng District, Jinhua City, and jointly held for the first time with the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the People's Society. Founded in July 1987 with the approval of the People's Editorial Committee, the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the People's ** Society is an art institution of the People's ** Society, and this exhibition has also been strongly supported by the Shenzhou Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the People's ** Society.
The scene of the exhibition. After the first exhibition in Beijing, the Wucheng District European and American Returned Scholars Association plans to tour the exhibition around the world, bringing the 36 weirs of Baishaxi, the scenery of Jinhua, and the Chinese culture to more overseas countries. At present, it has established contacts with relevant units in Liechtenstein, Australia, the United States and other countries.
