According to Country Garden, at present, the company has canceled all senior management car allocation, and when there is a need for work, it can achieve intensive control and cost reduction of vehicle expenses by applying for official dispatch or using its own car. In addition, treatments such as reimbursement of medical examinations for senior executives and free canteens for senior executives have also been abolished. The administrative expenses of the whole group are reduced by nearly 60% in 2023 compared with 2021 by the principle of zeroing, non-essential expenses are not spent, and rigid expenses are reduced as much as possible through integration and intensification.
Yan Yuejin, research director of the E-House Research Institute, believes that similar adjustments actually show that executives have taken the initiative to take the lead in streamlining and saving. A similar monthly salary of 10,000 yuan is actually symbolic, which is an important embodiment of the sharing of weal and woe among corporate executives and the importance of investors. Previously, Country Garden also made adjustments to the corporate structure, which also shows that in the case of new changes in the company's business situation, it is continuing to optimize, and it also shows that the company is actively seeking the guidance of a new development model.
