The concept of the first to the ninth civilization is derived from the Kardashev civilization hierarchy proposed by the scientist Yuri Kardashev in the 60s of the 20th century. This hierarchy is intended to describe the extent to which a civilization uses energy, and thus its level of technological, social, and cultural development. Here are some discussions about Tier 1 to Tier 9 civilizations:
A first-class civilization is one that is able to make the most of all the resources available on its planet. This includes the efficient use and control of the earth's natural resources, such as solar, wind, hydro, etc. Tier 1 civilizations usually have the technological level of early development, and have not yet fully unlocked and mastered cosmic-scale energy.
Second-tier civilizations have been able to make the most of all the energy sources in their systems. This could include interstellar travel technology, interstellar communication, and efficient management of resources within the galaxy. Interstellar civilizations tend to have highly advanced engineering skills that enable them to establish colonies and bases in the universe.
Third-tier civilizations have enough power to tap into resources throughout the galaxy. Such a civilization might be able to achieve high-speed travel between galaxies, build large-scale interstellar empires, or establish independent centers of civilization in various corners of the galaxy.
Fourth-tier civilizations have mastered energy utilization technology beyond a single galaxy, capable of harnessing resources throughout the universe. Such a civilization may be able to travel between different regions of the universe through wormholes, faster-than-light travel, or other advanced technologies.
Fifth-tier civilizations may be able to tap into the energy and resources of the multiverse. This includes understanding and mastering the structure of multiple universes, as well as energy transmission and communication across different universes.
The sixth-level civilization has mastered the energy and power of the metaverse and is able to build a stable society and civilization in the metaverse. Such a civilization may go beyond our current understanding of the universe and involve physical and abstract concepts in higher dimensions.
Seventh-level civilizations may have become almost omnipotent, possessing powers that transcend physical boundaries. Such a civilization may be able to manipulate the fundamental laws of the universe and create and change reality in the universe.
The eighth level of civilization may exist on a level that we cannot imagine, with the ability to transcend the superuniverse and transcend the constraints of time and space. It is a dimensional transcendence that involves a comprehensive understanding and mastery of the entire universe and the structure of the superuniverse.
The ninth-level civilization is an extreme concept, which means that this civilization may have become more than just an observer and user of the universe, but can create new universes, new dimensions, and become the creators of the entire universe and the superuniverse.
Note that these hierarchies are just a concept that represent a classification and imagination of the possibilities for the development of civilization. At present, human civilization is still in the first level, far from reaching these high-level levels of technology and civilization.
