There are two ways to resolve the request issue for an item code.
Method 1: SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional
In the PDM management interface, there will be a function of serial number after dropping down, in which you can configure the format of the material code, fill in here according to the company's coding rules, first of all, we want to name this serial number 01-001-001, select the string serial number as the type, enter the coding rules and add the water code in the format string filling column, such as 01-001-001-00001, and the lower right button can also set which value to start counting.
Go to the data card window of the PDM interface and select the corresponding one-two** code, and when the value in front of the serial code is corresponding, it will use the configured serial number to superimpose the serial code in turn.
Method 2: OIDS encoding management function
Configure R&D parameters according to R&D standardization requirements.
Set the criteria for filling in R&D attributes.
Formulate attribute verification rules to confirm the rigor and uniqueness of data.
Encoding rule configuration: Improve the reuse rate of parts by setting duplicate checking rules and custom encoding rules.
