Those people and those things that year
In the process of participating in Sino-German agricultural exchanges, I have learned Xi the courage of Germany to dare to retain "its own rights" under the EU common agricultural framework, and as a representative of the Chinese side, in the process of participating in the World Organization (WTO) agricultural negotiations and bilateral and multilateral consultations, and in the international agricultural negotiations, I have always actively worked hard for China's agriculture to strive for as much development policy space as possible.
Time flies, in the "indissoluble bond" with Germany, in addition to those major project cooperation, exchange visits, I also made many German friends, simple friendship, loyal trust and those people and things in the past, which are still unforgettable.
Take a tour of the campus accompanied by the old rector of the University of Hohenheim.
I remember that on the morning of July 27, 2007, I and the members of the Chinese working group visited the University of Hohenheim in Germany, which was the place where I first came to Germany for Xi study. In the bright sunshine, the old Chancellor, Professor Raisch, stood at the gate of the university in a suit to welcome me back to the University of Hohenheim, and the then president invited us to lunch in the student cafeteria in the most enthusiastic way at noon, and invited old and new friends of the school to have a discussion with us.
Reunited with old colleagues at the University of Hohenheim during a visit.
The importance attached to our trip and the "high standard of the banquet" was quietly told to me by my old colleague Mr. Schwartz during his work in the finance office of the University of Hohenheim in Germany 20 years ago, and he said: "This is the highest honor I have enjoyed at the University of Hohenheim all these years, thank you, Mr. Niu!".After lunch with old Chinese and German colleagues and new friends, I excitedly said: "It is the honor of my life to be able to study at the University of Hohenheim Xi!"”
I still remember that on January 18, 2015, I led the Chinese delegation to Hamburg, Germany, and after a morning of intense inspection activities, everyone was shivering in the cold wind. But when we walked into the warm restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised. A community choir of more than 30 people in Hamburg, Germany, dressed in traditional and colorful German national costumes, accompanied by a pianist, sang joyful songs in German and English, and the singing was warm and bright.
Suddenly, the singing and **** stopped, and the choir leader held a page and read in Chinese: "Happy birthday to Mr. Niu Dun!."Then the choir sang the song "Happy Birthday to You" again. The singers of the Hamburg City Community Choir sang the popular song "Happy Birthday to You" in German, English and finally Chinese. At this time, Mr. Blaisel took my arm and sang with everyone to the rhythm of **, blessing me!The scene in front of me deeply affected my ......I expressed my gratitude in German. At the same time, I also invited members of the Chinese delegation to sing Chinese songs and perform Chinese folk dances for German friends. The cultural interaction activities have further shortened the distance between Chinese and German friends.
Lunch is a traditional German dish, and during the lunch, my colleagues from the German Ministry of Agriculture prepared a birthday cake for me. In the evening of the same day, members of my delegation were invited to attend a meeting. The Hamburg City Symphony Orchestra is a symphony orchestra that is renowned both in Europe and around the world.
It was a wonderful night, a cool, passionate night, a night of nostalgia for the past and a vision of the future. The music of that day still lingers in my ears.
When we got back to the station, we didn't feel sleepy. I told my colleagues that international cooperation and exchanges in agriculture have enriched my work and life, and I hope that China's agriculture will become stronger and stronger
In order to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges between China and the three United Nations food and agriculture agencies, China has continuously strengthened the staffing, appointment and dismissal of agricultural diplomats. In March 2015, I was appointed as the Representative and Ambassador of the Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Agency. I went to Rome, Italy, to carry out agricultural cooperation and exchanges with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Food Programme of the United Nations and the United Nations International Agricultural Development Organization, and started a new journey in agricultural diplomacy.
Whether it was wandering around the campus of the University of Hohenheim in the summer of 1988 or still working in Sino-German agricultural cooperation, I was very nostalgic and beneficial. For more than 30 years, we have witnessed that under the correct leadership of China and China, China's agricultural international cooperation and exchange has made great progress and development, and agricultural international cooperation and exchange has also become an important part of China's diplomatic work, and has made efforts and contributions to China's comprehensive participation in global agricultural governance.
