AC Milan will play the final match of the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League group stage on Wednesday. The Rossoneri have already missed out on some revenue and will be hoping for a miracle to secure a place in the last 16.

The Group of Death really lives up to its name, with all four teams able to advance to the knockout rounds with one game remaining. Borussia Dortmund have already secured their spot, but Milan, Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain will be battling it out for the last spot. The Rossoneri could indeed get a ticket to the knockout stages as it would add to their January transfer window's budget. They made a lot of money from last year's competition, but things were far from ideal in the group stage.

So far, Milan have taken home €4.66 million in prize money from their group stage results (one win worth €2.8 million and a draw worth €930,000). To UEFA's money, we must also add the ticket revenues for home matches. Milan tickets were sold for €18.7 million, with Paris Saint-Germain having the highest ticket revenue at €7.7 million.

Additional income, such as participation bonuses, historical rankings, and market pools, must also be added to get the total amount. But these amounts have already been set and do not depend on Milan's performance in the group stage.
