Chai Lin has had a dream of aerospace since he was a child. Influenced by his family, in 1991, after graduating from university, Chai Lin entered the China Air-to-Air Missile Research Institute. In September 1992, China's manned space program was officially launched. Therefore, Chai Lin said with a smile that his youth can be said to be synchronized with the youth of China's manned spaceflight.

Over the past decades, Chai Lin has been deeply involved in many major projects of China's manned spaceflight and witnessed the rapid development of China's spaceflight. Regarding the contribution of "Made in Chengdu" in China's aerospace, Chai Lin said that the 10th Institute of Electrical Science and Technology, where he works, has a very right to speak.
For example, more than 60 percent of China's aerospace tracking and control stations have been developed by the 10th Institute of Electric Science and Technology. The T0 consoles and time unification systems at China's various space launch sites are also from the hands of our 10th Institute of Electrical Engineering. What makes Chai Lin feel the most proud is that the accuracy of the time unified system of "Made in Chengdu" has reached 3,000 years, with an error of no more than 1 second.
For youth, Chai Lin believes that the most ideal youth can be combined with great causes. And what makes him very pleased is that more and more young people, like him, have dedicated their youth to China's aerospace.
