It is easy to invite God, but it is difficult to send God, and we should be wary of ostrich style

In the historical picture scroll of "Zizhi Tongjian: Han Ji", we see a clear lesson. In the sixth year of Emperor Ling's Zhongping, in 189 AD, He Jin's fate was like an ostrich-like stupidity, ignoring his head, and finally fell into an irreparable crisis.

He Jin, a butcher from a humble background, took off because his sister was made queen. However, the eunuch Shichang was in chaos, fighting for power and profit with He Jin's family, and the conflict escalated. As a general, He Jin wanted to use the power of Dong Zhuo, the warlord of Xiliang, to eliminate the eunuchs. However, Zheng Tai, the servant of the imperial history, advised: "Dong Zhuo is forbearant and insatiable, if he uses the government to grant great things, he will be fierce and will endanger the court." As a relative of the emperor, you are fully capable of acting independently according to your original intentions and punishing the guilty, and you should not rely on Dong Zhuo as foreign aid!Shangshu Lu Zhi also expressed his opposition to calling Dong Zhuo, but He Jin turned a deaf ear.

Zheng Tai wisely left his official position and told Xun You: "He Gong is not easy to assist." This was a profound exhortation, but He Jin was indifferent. In the end, he invited Dong Zhuo to Beijing, reaped the consequences, and was beheaded by the eunuchs.

This history teaches us a vivid lesson. In the face of adversity, choosing the wrong reliance and taking care of one's head will eventually lead to irreparable disaster. He Jin's fate is like that of an ostrich burying its head in the grass, thinking it is safe, but not realizing that its tail is still exposed to danger.

This historical story reminds us that in times of change, we need to make rational decisions and not rely on power to recklessly. Zheng Tai and Lu Zhi's advice is a wise word, but He Jin is stubborn and finally falls into an irreparable situation. This is a vivid example of how to act cautiously on the stage of history in order to avoid falling into an "ostrich" stupidity.
