The common operating procedures of the laboratory are as follows:

Electronic balances

Place the electronic balance on a stable, flat table;

Plug in the power and turn on the switch;

When the machine is turned on, there can be no heavy objects on the scale tray, and after the display is stable, the empty container is placed on the weighing pan, but its weight cannot exceed the maximum weight, press the tare button to return to zero;

After adding the required sample, the displayed value is the sample weight;

After weighing, set the balance to zero first, then turn off the switch and unplug the power supply;

Clean the balance with a dry cloth or brush and put it back in place (avoid contact with water);

Balances should always be calibrated with the weights they are equipped with;

An appropriate amount of desiccant (such as silica gel, etc.) should be placed in the balance.

Portable autoclave

After wrapping the items to be disinfected, place them sequentially on the sieve plate in the disinfection bucket, leaving appropriate gaps to facilitate steam penetration;

Add water to the sterilizer to ensure that the water volume exceeds the heating ring 3 5cm high;

Put the sterilization bucket into the body, close the sterilizer lid, and seal it;

heating, controlling the pressure in the desired range, calculating the disinfection time;

After disinfection, exhaust, drying, and cooling;

Pay attention to the water volume in the sterilizer, the loading of disinfection items, the pressure gauge pointer, the safety valve and other maintenance and precautions.

Electrically heated thermostatic water bath

Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot and immerse the electric heating pipe for 3 5cm;

Turn on the power and adjust the temperature knob to the desired temperature;

Observe the amount of water frequently and replenish the amount of water in time to prevent dry burning;

Remove limescale after a period of use.

Electric water distiller

Turn on the water source so that the water in the cooler flows into the cup;

In the process of water production, it is necessary to pay attention to the flow rate of cooling water;

Turn off the power when the water production is stopped, and then turn off the cooling water source after cooling;

Regularly inspect the inner wall of the heating pot to remove limescale;

Clean the rust inside the water tank.

Binocular biomicroscopy

Turn on the power supply and turn on the light source switch;

Clamp the specimen with a specimen splint and drop an appropriate amount of cedar oil;

Focusing, observing;

Turn off the power, clean up the lens, and put it back in the box;

Pay attention to the amount of cedar oil on the surface of the specimen, carefully adjust it during operation, and store it to prevent dust, moisture, overcooling, and overheating.

Electrically heated incubator

Open the door of the box before use and place the specimen;

Turn on the power and check whether the instrument is normal;

The thermostat is adjusted to the desired temperature and cleaned after use.

Electrically heated constant temperature drying oven

The operation procedure is the same as that of an electrically heated constant temperature incubator;

The blower needs to be opened;

Drying is carried out at regular intervals and under temperature control.

Centrifuge

Place the instrument on a sturdy platform;

Check that the centrifuge tube is in good condition before use;

Balance the items and put them into the centrifuge symmetrically, and cover the safety lid;

Adjust the centrifugation time and speed;

Carefully remove items to prevent damage when re-centrifuging;

Clean the instrument after the operation.
