The relationship between emotions and viscera.
Emotions and viscera are closely related, and TCM believes that the five viscera correspond to the five emotions, namely the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys, which are related to joy, anger, thought, sadness, and fear. Seven emotions of internal injury, that is, when the body suffers from sudden, intense or long-lasting emotional stimulation, beyond the scope of the human body's regulation, it will lead to the liver, heart, spleen, lungs, kidneys and other organs of qi and blood dysfunction, and then disease.
Specifically:1Anger hurts the liver: When the body is angry, the emotional changes of anger can cause the upward reversal of liver qi, damage the liver, and even the blood circulation also changes with the reversal of the qi and organs, which jointly acts on the head. It is manifested as symptoms such as red face, dizziness, headache, and even vomiting blood, fainting, etc.
2.Joy and sadness: When the body feels joy, it can relieve tension and soothe the flow of qi and blood, but if it is sudden and violent or excessive joy, it will lead to the heart qi and not collecting, and there will be symptoms such as restlessness and confusion.
3.Thinking hurts the spleen: When the body thinks too much, it may cause the mind to condense, which can easily lead to the retention of qi in the body and the inability to dissipate in time. It can also damage the spleen, leading to stagnation of the spleen, affecting the operation of the spleen, manifested as loss of appetite, abdominal pain, etc.
4.Sadness lung: When the body feels sad, it is easy to cause poor qi, resulting in lung qi loss, manifested as shortness of breath, fatigue and lazy speech.
5.Fear of hurting the kidneys: When the body feels fear, it may make the qi run downward, and excessive fear may lead to symptoms such as kidney qi instability and enuresis.
In life, we should maintain an optimistic attitude, improve our psychological endurance, be broad-minded, and learn to adjust our emotions, which is beneficial to physical and mental health.
