The museum hosts 85 exhibition experiences.

The Beijing Museum has prepared a series of cultural and artistic gifts, with 85 exhibitions and cultural activities. On the banks of the Grand Canal, the newly opened Beijing Grand Canal Museum (Capital Museum East) launched more than 10 cultural activities during the New Year's Day. While enjoying the canal-themed exhibition, the audience can personally experience the production of paper dragon lanterns, Grand Canal cruise ship models, Tongzhou Eight Scenery Wood Art Window Flowers and other works, visit the intangible cultural heritage market, and taste time-honored food.

On December 31, the Ancient Bell Museum of the Great Bell Temple will hold a New Year's cultural experience activity of "Bidding Farewell to the Old and Welcoming the New Year, Ringing the Bell and Praying for Blessings", inviting the audience to walk into the "Yellow Bell Small Market" and relive the old Beijing New Year Market. In addition to experiencing the display of intangible cultural heritage skills, listening to folk music performances, and tasting traditional food, the audience can also take photos with the staff who play the role of historical figures in combination with the beautiful scenery of the ancient buildings with red walls and gray tiles. On the day of the event, the museum staff will ring the Yongle Bell every 2 hours, and ring the bell 36 times online at 24 o'clock, and the bell will ring 108 times throughout the day, sending good wishes to the audience for the new year.

The museums also prepare interesting New Year's exhibitions. The Beijing Museum of Arts and Crafts launched the "Encounter, Eight Unique Activities: The First Yanjing Eight Masterpieces Immersive Experience Exhibition in Beijing", exhibiting jade carving, cloisonne, filigree inlay and other Yanjing Eight Masterpieces handicrafts, and the audience can gain an in-depth understanding of the exquisite skills of the Eight Masterpieces of Yanjing through interesting interactive exhibits. There is also an experiential space in the exhibition hall, where intangible cultural heritage inheritors will teach traditional craft skills to the audience.
