Kan Baoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, attended and announced the launch of the event. 
The theme of this event is "Civilized Traffic, You and I Walk Together", which is jointly sponsored by the Chenzhou City Traffic Problem Centralized Rectification Leading Group, the Chenzhou Road Traffic Safety Committee, and the Traffic Police Detachment of the Chenzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau. A total of more than 300 people from relevant units and enterprises directly under the municipal government participated in the event. According to reports, during the event, all departments will highlight the main tone of "civilization" and "safety", carefully plan and carry out activities such as centralized publicity of traffic safety theme month, traffic safety tour preaching, civilized travel demonstration and guidance, warning publicity, etc., and actively guide the whole society to firmly establish the modern traffic safety concept of "self-discipline, tolerance, courtesy, and civilization". 
The activity requires that the whole city should combine the special action of "Winter Offensive" to continuously enrich the supply of traffic safety culture, promote the innovative application of cultural positions, expand the communication efficiency of traffic safety culture, and make safety awareness, civilization awareness, rule awareness, and rule of law awareness become the daily code of conduct of the whole people consciously and voluntarily, so as to ensure the smooth and safe traffic safety environment of the city, and make greater contributions to the high-quality economic and social development of the city.
