A few days ago, on the shore of Xiliang Lake, with the roar of cranes, three ferries that were idle in Xiliang Lake and other ferries were successfully hoisted ashore, and the public interest litigation procuratorial officers supervised the whole process.
In October this year, the public interest litigation police of the Jiayu County Procuratorate found that three ferries were moored at the lake's edge around Xiliang Lake and other places, with rusty hulls and dilapidated cabins. The steel rust stains on the hull and the oil stains in the cabin of the ship are washed into the lake with the rain, posing a potential threat to the water environment in the lakeIn addition, the ferry is moored near the drainage gate, which has a certain degree of impact on water diversion and flooding.
Subsequently, after communicating with relevant units, the procuratorial cadres and police learned that there were originally three ferries and three ferries in Xiliang Lake and other places. Due to the ban on fishing in Xiliang Lake and other reasons, these three ferries have no passengers and have been idle for a long time, resulting in rusty hulls and indeed polluting the water body. To this end, the Jiayu County Procuratorate held a hearing on the problems found, and issued pre-trial procuratorial suggestions to the administrative departments and local people on the spot, urging them to implement their management responsibilities and dispose of the three ferries in a timely manner.
After receiving the procuratorial suggestion, the administrative department and the people of the territory attached great importance to it and negotiated a solution with the owners of the three ferries many timesAt the same time, through research and visits, the local people found that there was no need for the three ferries to have no source of passengers, and they had applied to the county people to cancel the three ferriesThe administrative department took the initiative to report to the higher authorities and strive for financial support, in order to minimize the loss of the shipowner to dismantle the ferry.
Through the supervision of the procuratorate and the joint efforts of relevant departments, a consensus was reached that the ferry would be hoisted ashore for centralized storage, eliminate the hidden danger of water pollution, and then dismantle the ferry after the follow-up funds were in place.
A few days ago, under the witness of the procuratorate and the transportation administrative department, all three ferries were hoisted ashore.
