The top 10 cities in terms of service level at traffic light intersections include Wenzhou, Qingdao, Nanjing, etc.
The report selects the important traffic light intersections in 50 major cities in China to evaluate the service level level, and divides the service level of the intersection into six grades from A to F according to the delay index (A is the best, F is the worst).
According to the report, the top 10 cities in terms of traffic light intersection service level in 2023 are Wenzhou, Qingdao, Nanjing, Dalian, Nantong, Chongqing, Xiamen, Hefei, Ningbo, and Wuhan.
Among the cities with more than 4 million cars, the service level of heavy green light intersections is the highest.
By dividing the city into four grades: "over 4 million", "over 3 million", "over 2 million" and "below 2 million", the service level of urban traffic light intersections was compared and analyzed. As of the end of September 2023, Chongqing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Zhengzhou, among the cities with more than 4 million cars, performed well at traffic light intersections, ranking among the top five. Among the cities with more than 3 million, Qingdao, Nanjing, Ningbo, Guangzhou, and Shijiazhuang have a higher level of service at traffic light intersections. Wenzhou and Dalian ranked first among cities with more than 2 million and less than 2 million cars respectively.
