The Jingzao Bridge project connects the Chaoshan Ring Expressway Chaoshan Liaison Line, crosses the Rongjiang River from south to north, and connects Shantou and Jieyang, with a total length of about 3,110 meters. Among them, the main bridge of Jingzao Bridge is the control project of the whole line of the project, with a total length of about 1,793 meters, and adopts the design of a cable-stayed bridge with a double-tower double-cable surface semi-floating system steel-concrete composite beam. The cross-sectional shape of the tower column is designed as a diamond type, and the city flower of Shantou City, "Golden Phoenix", and the city flower of Jieyang City, "Lotus", are extracted as design elements.

The south main tower located in Shantou City was successfully capped on December 21, 2023, and the north main tower is located in Jieyang City, which is the same height and structure as the south main tower, with a height of about 126 meters, equivalent to a 42-story building, and the entire main tower is composed of six parts: tower base, lower tower column, lower beam, upper tower column, upper beam and tower crown.

The construction of the north main tower of the main bridge of the Jingzao Bridge officially began on January 15, 2023. During the construction process, the problems of small operating space of the trestle platform, deep foundation pit operation, large-volume concrete construction, complex structure of cable-stayed cable anchorage area, variable cross-section of the main tower and synchronous construction of tower girders were successfully overcome.

The project innovatively proposes the "steel anchor beam precise positioning and installation method", through the addition of positioning tooling design and the addition of steel anchor beam transverse limit, the installation of steel anchor beam can be completed quickly and accurately, the installation accuracy and construction efficiency of steel anchor beam can be improved, and the construction progress of construction can be further accelerated.
