With the theme of "Improving Professional Quality and Optimizing Nursing Services", we strive to provide patients with seamless, continuous, safe, high-quality and satisfactory nursing services. Our overall goal is to satisfy patients, build a pragmatic foundation, consolidate results, further deepen the work of high-quality nursing services, enhance the service connotation, and continuously improve the quality of care.
In order to achieve this goal, we have developed a series of detailed plans and measures. First of all, we have revised and improved various systems and standards to ensure that there are rules to follow. We strictly implement the rules and regulations, job responsibilities, work processes, disease nursing routines, clinical nursing service norms, standards, and quality inspection standards and methods revised by the Nursing Department of our hospital. At the same time, strengthen the management of the practice access system to ensure that each person has the corresponding professional qualifications.
In terms of improving professional quality and optimizing nursing services, we have done the following:
Strengthen the training of basic theoretical knowledge. Through the organization of training, the comprehensive quality and professional ability of the nursing staff in the department have been improved. We focus on the implementation and quality of primary and graded care.
Improve the ability to work in practice. We train the backbone of specialist nurses to equip them with enhanced clinical care capabilities.
Strengthen the training of nursing professional and technical operations. Establish a hierarchical training mechanism, in accordance with the prescribed training projects, carry out skill operation training in a planned manner, and require everyone to complete the training and assessment of skill operation this year, firmly grasp the basic skills of nursing, and be pragmatic and basic.
Strengthen the study of etiquette norms. Etiquette is the embodiment of comprehensive quality, through learning etiquette norms, so that we can better communicate with patients and improve patient satisfaction.
In terms of management, we have taken the following measures:
Strengthen the management of key patient links. We have established a sound nursing process and management evaluation procedures, especially for the management of key links such as patient transfer, handover, and pressure sores.
Strengthen the monitoring and management of nursing safety. Organize the department to conduct nursing safety hazard investigation and analysis and discussion of the causes of nursing errors and nursing adverse events every month, analyze the causes of occurrence, lessons to be learned, and put forward preventive measures and improvement measures.
Strengthen department management. Every week, the department conducts irregular spot checks on ward management, basic nursing, nursing safety, medical record writing, first-class instrumentation, disinfection and isolation, etc., and immediately points out the existing problems and gives feedback within a time limit, and summarizes them at the weekly morning meeting. Organize the nursing team leader to conduct quality control and comprehensive evaluation of high-quality nursing work every month, comment on the existing problems at the first regular meeting, and rectify them within a time limit.
In terms of basic care, we always keep the beds clean, odor-free, stain-free, and neatly arranged in a standardized manner. We inspect infusion patients frequently, are good at observing patients, and find problems and solve them in time. For those who do well, we will praise them at the internal meeting and reward them according to the incentive assessment plan.
In order to strictly implement the responsibility system for holistic care, we have piloted the APN scheduling method and flexible scheduling. Responsibility: Provide continuous and whole-process work for patients in charge of beds from admission to discharge. At the same time, fully perform the best duties. Integrate basic nursing, disease observation, communication and health guidance to provide patients with comprehensive, whole-process and continuous nursing services.
We also hold regular departmental break forums to listen to patients' opinions and suggestions on quality care. Conduct monthly patient satisfaction surveys to understand patient satisfaction from the aspects of first-class operation technology, grooming, health education, etc., and timely feedback to individuals and departments, improve problems and continuously improve the quality of nursing services.
We also strengthen the health education of patients, individual education, by the responsibility of the first responsible person according to the department's common diseases and nursing routines, special diet, to the patient to do a detailed explanation, collective education, by the senior responsible for the self-prevention of the disease, medication precautions, safety protection, etc., so that patients can better understand the disease and knowledge, improve self-care ability.
In order to establish a performance appraisal mechanism, we strictly implement the implementation responsibilities of various systems, perform job responsibilities, conduct assessment in accordance with post management, and conduct performance appraisal as the basis for performance appraisal, and at the same time, we strengthen the implementation of the core system of medical safety and various nursing operation norms, process routines, and routines to ensure the safety of patients and the smooth progress of nursing work.
