On the evening of February 2, many roads and intersections in Huairou were lit up with all kinds of New Year's lanterns, attracting many passers-by to take photos and check in. Since the Huairou District Urban Management Committee launched the 2024 Spring Festival landscape lantern arrangement, a fuzi lantern and a string of hanging tree stars fell all over the treetops, and were officially lit on Chinese New Year's Eve.

The landscape layout of the Spring Festival in 2024 includes three verticals, ten horizontals, and ten nodes in the old town of Huairou, Huairou Science City and Yanqi Lake Demonstration Area. Among them, 3 nodes and 5 landscape sketches have been added to the two key areas of the demonstration area and the Science City. Within the layout of Huairou Old Town, Demonstration Area and Science City, a total of 1,160 lantern poles and 5,892 sets of lantern lighting are hung; 119,300 linear meters of tree-winding lanterns were installed, and 16,610 sets of tree stars and blessing lanterns were hung; 26 landscape sketches are set up at 14 nodes.

The reporter noticed that the scope of Huairou landscape layout for this year's Spring Festival has expanded slightly compared with previous years. On the basis of the above scope, three new landscape layouts have been added, namely Binhu Park, Exit 14 of Jingcheng Expressway and Yanxiu Road. According to statistics, Huairou has installed a total of 1,050 lanterns, 1,200 strings of lights, and 300 square meters of net lights, creating a prosperous Spring Festival atmosphere.
