Born in China in 1967, Liu Jin joined the Communist Party of China in 1989 and is a master's student in English language and literature from Shandong University, a master's degree in literature, and a senior economist.
He currently holds an important position in Bank of China, concurrently serving as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman and President, contributing his wisdom and experience to the development and operation of the banking industry. In his previous experience, he served as Vice President of China Development Bank from September 2018 to November 2019, where he played an active role in the country's financial undertakings.
Early in his career, Liu Jin began working at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China for many years. He served as Vice President of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Shandong Branch, and then stepped into the international financial arena as Vice Chairman, Executive Director and General Manager of ICBC Europe and General Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Frankfurt Branch.
