1. Don't post the wrong time
Many people think that it is okay to post couplets at any time, as long as they are pasted. In fact, otherwise, the folk also have a saying about the time of pasting couplets, sticking too early is called "busy and falling early", and sticking too late is called "one step can't keep up, step by step can't keep up". 2. Don't stick double numbers
Traditionally, even numbers are often understood as pairs and have an auspicious meaning, but couplets are the opposite, and couplets are considered unlucky if they are singular. This is also based on the concept of yin and yang, as the singular number usually represents the masculine and symbolizes positivity and happiness, while the even number is considered feminine and may bring bad luck.
When pasting couplets, the left and right are often reversed, which is also more common in life, once the paste is reversed, there will be jokes, and they will feel very embarrassed, and it is indeed more troublesome to re-post it. So how do you ensure that the couplets are correct?
