In order to make full use of the excellent traditional cultural resources and heritage, and deeply understand the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture, on February 1, 2024, the members of the walking cultural team of the School of Computer Science of Qufu Normal University, under the guidance of Mr. Ji Yuchao, went to Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province to carry out cultural and creative practice research activities.
Qufu is the hometown of Confucius and is known as the "Holy City of the East". The city retains a large number of ancient buildings and cultural heritages, such as the Confucian Temple, the Confucian Forest, the Confucian Mansion, etc., which not only witness the historical changes and cultural development of Qufu City, but also provide rich research resources for contemporary students. To this end, the members of the practice team came to Qufu and started a unique journey of cultural innovation.
Under the leadership of the research teacher, the team members first visited the cultural heritage Confucius Temple, Confucius Forest, and Confucius Mansion. The Confucian Mansion, the Confucian Temple, and the Confucian Forest, collectively referred to as the "Three Holes" of Qufu, are the holy places of worship for Confucius and Confucianism in China, and are also the products of respecting Confucius and Confucianism in the past dynasties. The Confucian Temple, the building imitates the system of the imperial palace, is divided into nine courtyards, runs through a north-south central axis, and is symmetrically arranged on the left and right, which is the largest temple building in China. The Confucian Mansion, which is integrated with the official office and the residential mansion, is a typical example of northern architecture in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Kong Lin, the burial place of Confucius and his descendants, is the largest and longest-lasting family cemetery in China. The rich cultural connotation of "three holes" has become an important component of local cultural creativity. During the visit, people can not only feel the rich cultural atmosphere, but also enjoy a dazzling array of cultural and creative products, such as keychains and ring rulers engraved with the Analects.
Then, the team members visited the cultural tourism resort Nishan Sacred Land and the Confucius Museum. The Nishan Shengjing University Hall and the Confucius Museum take the traditional Confucian culture as the core, combined with modern design concepts, to present the broad and profound Confucian culture to people. At the same time, in the hall of Nishan Shengjing University, you can also enjoy a series of cultural and creative products with distinctive cultural characteristics. These products not only have high artistic value, but also make a positive contribution to the inheritance and development of Confucian culture, but also convey the blessing of people's happy life.
The team members also studied and discussed these cultural and creative products. In the process of practice, the team members showed a high team spirit and innovation ability. They actively participate in discussions and constantly collide with sparks of innovation. From the design, production to publicity and promotion of cultural and creative products, it fully demonstrates the talent and potential of contemporary students.
Through this practical activity, the team members have a deeper understanding of traditional culture and cultural and creative products. It is hoped that in the future, more people will combine traditional culture with modern creativity, so as to inject new impetus into the inheritance and development of traditional culture.
