At 8:30 a.m. on February 10, the X8426 China-Europe train, which had just finished the loading and unloading operation overnight, was loaded with China's "Dragon" New Year's goods, and set off from the Pinghu South Railway Hub (Pinghu South Station) in Shenzhen and galloped to central Europe. This is the first China-Europe train from the Greater Bay Area during the Lunar New Year, and the first China-Europe train in Guangdong to leave through Tongjiangbei Port.
It is understood that the train carried 55 standard containers, covering clothes, shoes and hats, household appliances, daily necessities, electronic equipment, including about 150,000 pieces of 505 tons of "Made in the Bay Area" commodities were exported through Tongjiangbei Port, with a total distance of 12,740 kilometers and a total of about 25 days, celebrating the "Year of China" with the people of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road".
The "iron dragon" is galloping forward, and the "camel bell" in the Bay Area is endless. Since the beginning of this year, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area China-Europe Express has continued to grow, and in January, the China-Europe Express has shipped a total of 8,800 TEUs, transporting about 9 production and living materials60,000 tons, the volume of goods sent increased by about 1 compared with last year2 times. With the smooth launch of the Pinghu South train through Tongjiangbei Port, it marks that the Greater Bay Area has initially completed the construction of a cross-border train logistics network of five entry and exit ports, creating a regional export-oriented economic development for the Bay Area, adding a logistics channel connecting the European continent, and further deepening and smoothing the domestic and international "dual circulation".
The Spring Festival period is not only the peak period for shipments, but also the dangerous period for the backlog of goods. We urgently need an economical and stable logistics channel to send our New Year goods to Europe. Xu Hongzhan, the person in charge of the Guangzhou Dashunfa International Logistics Project, introduced, "The China-Europe train has the characteristics of being safer and more flexible in inter-state and long-distance transportation. Being able to arrive at the destination quickly and on time during holidays, and good timeliness is one of the main reasons why we choose China-Europe trains. ”
According to the data, at present, the Greater Bay Area has opened and operated more than 40 China-Europe freight train transportation routes at 5 stations, and the number of trips and one-way freight volume have reached a record high for 11 consecutive years, and a total of 211 production and living materials have been transported420,000 tons. With the continuous expansion of the brand effect of China-Europe trains, Guangzhou Railway Group actively explores and expands the development space for efficient and convenient cooperation in international multimodal transport.
While promoting the China-Europe freight train to 'go global' along the ancient Silk Road, the railway department is also organizing the opening of return trains to promote overseas logistics service guarantee. The relevant person in charge of the Guangzhou Railway Group told reporters that the Guangzhou Railway Group is stepping up the promotion of the international return train organization, closely relying on the location advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and actively developing "train +" customized trains to meet the transportation needs of different customer groups, and play a deeper and higher level of strategic channel role.
The China-Europe train in the Greater Bay Area will "not close" for the New YearGuangzhou Railway Group plans to run more than 4 China-Europe trains per day during the Spring Festival, and organize 2 return trains at the same time, for the people to transport back high-quality and inexpensive "foreign New Year's goods". "Two-way travel" joins hands with Asian and European countries and regions to build a "multi-directional extension, consultation and sharing" transportation service network system.
