Groningen has been ranked as the third most satisfied city in Europe.
The city scores particularly well for cultural products, markets and town squares, with Groningen ranking first in all of Europe for cultural facilities. Around 96% of respondents in Groningen are satisfied with life in their city.
Groningen is followed by Copenhagen in second place and Zurich in first place. According to the survey, the cities with the lowest satisfaction in Europe are Palermo, Athens and Istanbul.
