IT Home reported on January 10 that Huami Amazon Fit released a new smart ring called Helio Ring during CES 2024. Billed as designed for "optimal athletic performance" and able to understand the user's physical and mental condition, this smart ring is expected to be available in early spring this year.

Crafted from titanium, this ring weighs less than 4 grams (3.).8g), which can bring detailed sleep tracking, exercise recovery statistics, and can measure the user's heart rate, blood oxygen and stress situation. At the same time, the ring is claimed to be water-resistant to 10atm, allowing users to wear it into waters up to 100 meters deep.

The Helio Ring will also provide users with a scoring mechanism that includes exercise and sleep quality, and can provide users with suggestions based on their own sleep quality and physical exertion, such as whether they should "push the limit" or "relax" during exercise.

In terms of interaction, this smart ring can be used with Huami's smart watch, or as a stand-alone device. It is also complemented by the "Zepp Aura AI" health service app, which allows users to access their weekly and monthly fitness reports and ask health-related questions in the app.

However, this service comes as a paid subscription and costs $69 per year$99 (note from IT House: currently about 502 RMB).
