After the docking of the east and west blocks of the second phase of the "Shenhai No. 1" comprehensive treatment platform was completed yesterday, the ethylene glycol ** regeneration treatment device and the trestle will be hoisted. At present, more than half of the installation process of the second phase of the "Shenhai No. 1" comprehensive treatment platform is completed, which also marks the acceleration of the construction process of the first "four-star bead" natural gas production platform in the southern waters of China.
The integrated treatment platform of the second phase of the "Shenhai No. 1" project consists of an underwater jacket and an aquatic production facility, with a total weight of more than 140,000 tons. The 8-legged 12-skirt pile jacket was installed at the end of January this year. The water production facility consists of four parts: east and west blocks, ethylene glycol ** regeneration treatment unit and trestle, with a total weight of more than 7,500 tons.
Sun Zhiguang, Chief Engineer of the second phase of the "Shenhai No. 1" project of CNOOC Offshore Oil Project: Up to now, more than half of the overall installation work has been completed, and while the welding operation is being carried out, the MRU (ethylene glycol ** regeneration treatment device) and the preparation for the hoisting of the trestle are also in full swing. After the completion of the trestle hoisting, the second phase of the integrated processing platform will be connected with the original Yacheng 13-1 platform to form the first "four-star alignment" natural gas production cluster in the southern waters of China.
The Shenhai No. 1 ultra-deepwater gas field, which was put into operation in June 2021, has proven geological reserves of more than 100 billion cubic meters of natural gas, making it the deepest and most difficult offshore ultra-deepwater field independently developed in China. After the second phase of the Shenhai No. 1 project is fully put into operation, the annual output of the Shenhai No. 1 ultra-deepwater gas field can be increased by another 50% to an annual output of 4.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
