The researchers recruited 86 Korean office workers to study the different types of micro-break activities they did during the workday and the effects these activities had on them.

It turned out thatRelaxation and social micro-rest activities can help people temporarily recover from fatigue at work;

Micro-rest activities such as nutritional intake are not helpful for people to recover from fatigue;

Cognitive micro-rest activities increase the feeling of fatigue at work.

According to the researchers,When you eat at work, it may be a habitual actThis won't really help you stop from being at work. For example, if you have a cup of milk tea at hand, you may continue to look at the computer while taking a few sips.
