With the Lunar Year of the Dragon just around the corner, Rolls-Royce has recently released four Bespoke Haute Couture models, including three Phantom long-wheelbase models and a Cullinan model, all designed and hand-built by Rolls-Royce's House of Goodwood, and will be released for the global market.
In fact, this isn't the first time Rolls-Royce has launched a special edition of the Zodiac.
In 2019, Rolls-Royce launched a special edition for the Year of the Pig in four models: Cullinan, Gust, Phantom and Dawn.
2014 is the Year of the Horse, and Rolls-Royce officially released the Rolls-Royce Gust "Yingji Collector's Edition" model specially built for the domestic market.
As Rolls-Royce's second largest market in the world, the importance of Greater China to the brand is self-evident, and these Zodiac bespoke models, while paying tribute to Chinese culture, also demonstrate Rolls-Royce's ability to control details and craftsmen.
It is understood that the Longteng New Year Bespoke haute couture series all have exclusive and unique body colors.
Among them, Linan adopts cherry red with Selby gray two-tone body.
The three Mirage Long Wheelbase Custom Editions are available in silver and cherry red two-tone bodywork, and black monochrome bodywork.
In addition, a hand-painted phoenix red bespoke haute couture waistline is also specially used, and the dragon element facing the right side is subtly incorporated, symbolizing the direction of the rising sun facing the east.
The interior of the car adopts the exclusive star roof for the Year of the Dragon, which lasted three months of design and development, and the glittering 677 individually arranged optical fiber "stars" form the shape of the dragon, surrounded by another 667 bright stars, and all the stars are hand-positioned and typeset, and the production time is more than 20 hours, and finally the perfect effect can be presented.
The carbon fiber gallery in front of the co-pilot also has its own dragon pattern, which took two weeks to complete and was hand-painted, and in order to present the 3D effect, the dragon body color is mixed in different proportions from red, white, yellow, and brown.
The dragon motifs on the headrests of the four seats are embroidered with phoenix red stitching, contrasting with the black or white seat leather, and each piece was knitted from 5449 over a period of about 20 hours.
On the small table in the back row, Rolls-Royce also uses stainless steel inlay technology to create a circular Chinese zodiac calendar, the names of the twelve zodiac signs are engraved in traditional Chinese calligraphy, of which the "dragon" is highlighted in gold, and the dragon-shaped pattern of the small table ** is also depicted in gold.
Craftsmanship, unique design, impeccable attention to detail, ......These Haute Couture models continue to demonstrate the unrivalled capabilities of Rolls-Royce Bespoke and are the ultimate expression of true luxury.
At the same time, this also gives inspiration to the frequent high-end brands in China, if you want to impact the real high-end and luxury, you can't just shout slogans, you can't just pile up on the surface, only if you are willing to spend time and cost, dig deep from the cultural heritage and craftsmanship, in order to really create a great "work of art", what do you think?
