At present, China's chip imports, exports and production are showing an important change, which is consistent with the data released by the Customs and Statistics Bureau.
First of all, we put China's total chip import and export volume, growth rate, and deficit in the past 7 years as follows.
We can see that in the past two years, the import value of chips has been decreasing, from 440 billion in 2021, to 415.6 billion in 2022, and 349.5 billion in 2023.
Exports, on the other hand, have been relatively stable, hovering above 150 billion yuan between 2021 and 2022. Although there will be a slight decline in 2023 to reach 16 billion yuan, its performance is much better than the import data.
In terms of chip deficits, this is even more so, reaching a peak of $286 billion in 2021, $261.7 billion in 2022, and $214.1 billion in 2023, which shows that in the past three years, our chips have performed more powerfully.
We can see this signal in the number of chips imported and exported. Imports continued to decline, exports fell slightly, and the deficit gradually narrowed.
Finally, let's review the domestic chip production from 2020 to 2023, and I'm sure everyone will have a clear understanding of this.
As of 2022, the global chip industry has declined by 116%, and the revenue in 2020 was only 2614200 million, compared to 3594 in 2021300 million, an increase of 333%；

The U.S. suppression of China's chip industry has become more targeted and harsher since 2020. Their goal is obvious, which is to use 14 nm, DRAM to use 18 nm, NAND Flash to use 128 nm.
