With the double clamping system, the taps on the shank and square head are clamped equally securely, preventing twisting. Another feature of this clamping technique is the large clamping range, which is operated with a square wrench. The adjustable safety clutch largely prevents possible tool breakage. Due to the extremely low residual torque after release, the clutch is virtually non-wearable. The taps were forcibly taken away in the return line. Any axis misalignment between the machine spindle and the workpiece axis is compensated for by a ball bearing pendulum device.
