On February 2, the opening ceremony of the "Winter Sunshine Warms You and Me" Chongqing Youth "Red Journey" theme winter camp sponsored by the Youth League Municipal Committee and the Municipal Youth Outreach and undertaken by the Municipal Youth Social Education Association was held at the Chongqing National Defense Mobilization Training Base, and 270 students started a trip to continue the red blood and inherit the red spirit.

The winter camp will last for five days, and a total of 250 outstanding children aged 9 to 13 from 17 districts and counties in northeast and southeast Chongqing will participate. In addition, the organizers also invited 20 representatives of the children of heroes and martyrs to join the camp.

In 5 days, these children will walk into Geyue Mountain Martyrs Cemetery, Chongqing Science and Technology Museum, BOE Intelligent Smart Base and other places to trace the red footprints, experience the charm of science and technology, and understand traditional culture.

In the Dregs Cave and the White Mansion, children will relive the classic red stories through activities such as "The Most Beautiful Red Story Voicer" and "Red Scarf Tourer"; At the Chongqing Industrial Museum, children will learn about the revitalization of national industry after Chongqing's opening to the outside world; In the Future Eagle (Aviation Pavilion), children will feel the charm of aviation technology and experience the wonder and joy of flying.

Although the time is short, the impact on the children is a lifetime, and I hope that this activity can become a flame to help the children grow, illuminate the way forward for them, and let them remember the past and strive for the future. The relevant person in charge said that the Chongqing Youth "Red Journey" theme winter camp has lasted for 8 years, and a total of more than 2,000 students have increased their knowledge and harvested growth through this activity.
At the opening ceremony, 270 students participated in the flag-raising ceremony and listened to the story of the national flag preached by Yang Ping'an, a former soldier of the Tiananmen National Flag Squad.
The students have expressed that they will study hard, work hard, strive to be useful talents who love national defense and defend the motherland, and strive to be socialist builders and people with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor.
