Through our multi-party cooperation, the sediment of the Yellow River can finally be turned into treasure, which can not only reduce the land occupied by dredging and cultivate the people, but also create a certain amount of financial revenue for the local government. On February 1, Yang Yuguang, a member of the party group and deputy director of the Weishan Irrigation District Management Service Center, stood on the edge of the sand pond in the Weishan Irrigation District and said with emotion.

Weishan Irrigation District is the second largest irrigation area of the Yellow River in China, in order to control flood and drought disasters, in 1958, the city built the Weishan Irrigation District, which attracted the water of the Yellow River to Xingliao, Hebei and Jinjin, and became an important water source support for agriculture, industry, ecology and people's livelihood in the North China Plain. Every year, millions of tons of sediment accumulate in sedimentation ponds, resulting in regional poverty with fragile ecology and barren land. With the close combination of poverty alleviation, rural revitalization and ecological construction, the city has vigorously carried out infrastructure construction, revitalized water conservancy, removed sand damage, created green space, strengthened industries, helped people's livelihood, promoted ecological restoration and improvement, and promoted the integrated development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries in the pool area"Foundation first, sand control and greening, industrial integration, and people's income"A new way of ecological poverty alleviation and rural revitalization. However, how to use the more than 2 million cubic meters of sediment deposited by the Yellow River every year has always been a problem that the Weishan irrigation area has been thinking about.

With many advantages such as moderate size and clean surface, river sand has always been the most popular source of sand, but with such a huge amount of sediment as the Yellow River, few people have mined it. The sediment of the Yellow River is mostly brought by soil erosion on the high slope of the loess, and although the quantity is large, the diameter of the sediment in the Yellow River is generally 0Below 3 mm, the surface is too smooth, and the adhesion is too low to allow the concrete to fully solidify; In addition, before the sand is put into use, it needs to go through the sieving and water steps to wash off the soil contained in the sand, and only after reaching the standard can it enter the market, the sediment content of the Yellow River is very large, therefore, for many years, the Yellow River sediment has not been able to be better utilized.

After many investigations and understandings, Weishan Irrigation District finally found a solution to the problem. In recent years, Jiangchuan Building Materials and the Institute of Building Materials of the Chinese Academy of Building Research have reached a number of cooperation agreements on technical consultation, product research and development, standardization and market development related to ultrafine sand in the Yellow River, and jointly developed the feasibility study of the Yellow River ultrafine sand concrete, a high-performance concrete and its preparation method, and the application of the Yellow River ultrafine sand in the water-stabilized layer. Technical Regulations for the Application of Ultrafine Sand Concrete in the Yellow River", etc., have laid a solid technical support for the comprehensive development and popularization and application of yellow sediment.

It is understood that the technical personnel of the Yellow River ultrafine sand carried out key performance tests, including mud content, stone powder content and MB value, particle gradation and concrete performance comparison test, etc., after research found that on the basis of the existing production mix ratio, mixed with a certain proportion of the Yellow River ultrafine sand, can be prepared mixture performance, strength and electric flux to meet the standard requirements of C30 and C50 pumped concrete. It is understood that the 28D compressive strength of C30 and C50 mixed sand concrete meets the requirements of the current standard "Design Regulations for Ordinary Concrete Mix Ratio", and the flexural strength can meet the ...... of the current standard "Design Code for Highway Cement Concrete Pavement" in the extremely heavy, extra-heavy and heavy traffic load requirements

On January 26, the signing ceremony of the cooperation on the recycling of yellow sediment in the city's Weishan Irrigation District was held in the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau. The Municipal Bureau of Finance, the Management Service Center of Weishan Irrigation District, the people of Jianglou Town, Dong'e County, and Tianjin Jiangchuan Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. Jianyan Building Materials Co., Ltd. signed the "Liaocheng Weishan Irrigation District Yellow Sediment Recycling Project and the Yellow River Ultrafine Sand Comprehensive Development and Promotion and Application Cooperation Agreement", and the Municipal Weishan Irrigation District Management Service Center and Tianjin Jiangchuan Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd. signed the "Liaocheng Weishan Irrigation District Yellow Sediment Recycling Project Cooperation Agreement".

Leng Guangguang, chairman of Jianyan Building Materials, said: "We hope to make the Yellow River ultra-fine sand business a sustainable and high-quality industry, and also hope that Jianyan Building Materials will be able to establish a long-term and stable strategic cooperative relationship with Liaocheng Weishan Irrigation District and Liaocheng enterprises in the Yellow River sand industry and other business directions." ”

With the development of science and technology and the progress of technology, especially the technological achievements we have developed, the idea of 'turning the Yellow River sediment into treasure, turning harm into profit, creating wealth and benefiting the people' will become a reality. Wang Fang, chairman of Tianjin Jiangchuan Building Materials Technology Co., Ltd., said that as an investor and operator, Jiangchuan Building Materials is very confident in the investment environment of Liaocheng City, and will operate in accordance with the law, standardize operations, create a demonstration and benchmark for the recycling of sediment in the Yellow River Basin, and make our due contribution to the ecological environmental protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin.

Promoting the resource utilization of sediment diversion from the Yellow River and improving the ecological environment are the specific practices of implementing the major national strategies of the Yellow River, an important measure to promote green, low-carbon and high-quality development and rural revitalization, and an inevitable requirement for protecting the water environment, water ecology and water security. The successful signing of the above two cooperation agreements has filled the gap in the field of resource utilization of Yellow Sediment in Liaocheng City, opened a new chapter in the comprehensive development and promotion and application cooperation of multiple parties in the diversion of Yellow Sediment, and marked an important step in the resource utilization of Yellow Sediment in Liaocheng City, which has the significance of "milestone".
