Meizu's official WeChat post said that at present, with the extension of the replacement cycle of the global mobile phone market, the limited space for consumer innovation, and the intensification of vicious competition in the industry, the mobile phone industry is facing unprecedented challenges. At the same time, mobile phone products rely solely on hardware upgrades and parameter competition, which can no longer meet the diversified and comprehensive use needs and experience of consumers, and the industry urgently needs to find a new direction for sustainable development.

Meizu has decided to go all in AI, stopping new projects of traditional smartphones and going all out to invest in AI for new generations, the devices of tomorrow, and entering a new wave of promising AI technology. Meizu will gradually complete the All in AI vision through three years of ecological layout and technology precipitation. According to the plan, in 2024, Meizu's newly built mobile operating system for the AI era will be updated to build the infrastructure capacity of the operating system in the AI era. In addition, Meizu's first AI device hardware product will also be officially released within this year, and it will compete head-to-head with the world's top AI device manufacturers.

Meizu said that during the Meizu All in AI transition period, the user experience and services of the original Meizu Flyme, Flyme Auto, Flyme AR, MyVu, Pandaer and Wujie Zhixing services will not be affected. The existing Meizu mobile phone products on sale will continue to provide users with normal software and hardware maintenance services. Users who have purchased Meizu 20 series and Meizu 21 flagship phones will still enjoy the original after-sales and related service guarantees.
