However, for those top automotive chips that can attract vehicle manufacturers and manufacturers, a complete system has not yet been formed, and can only emerge in the field of unmanned driving and intelligent cockpits, but there are very few domestic chips that really use.
Autonomous driving chips and intelligent cockpit chips are not the most demanded chips in the market at present, after all, their demand for chips is not as high as that of automotive-grade MCUs.
Why is advanced chips in cars so hard? First, it is necessary to have experience in automotive standards, functional safety, information security, quality management and other certifications, and have a variety of resources such as OEM, Tier 1 and 2 in the industry.
And if you want to bring this chip to the market, you must pass a series of tests to meet different requirements, and it must also match with other chips, such as real-time calibration of the whole vehicle and test bench, and the connection of a variety of communication buses.
It's not something that can be done overnight, it's a long process, a person's growth, a person's growth, a person's growth. Moreover, other companies have also set certain restrictions on agreements, patents and technologies, so that new companies cannot bring products to market in the short term.
Therefore, domestic new energy vehicles, while developing rapidly, should also take into account the problem of chips, if one day, they can not produce high-performance automotive chips, then domestic new energy vehicles, will be greatly hindered.
If we want to solve these problems, we must let domestic car manufacturers make technological progress, and at the same time get help from domestic car manufacturers, so that we can establish our own industrial chain, so as to reduce dependence on foreign countries and reduce imports, don't you say?
