ISM, the German confectionery exhibition at the Cologne International Exhibition Center from January 28 to 31, is once again the international center for the global confectionery and snack industry. 1,427 exhibitors from 74 countries showcased the latest trends and innovative products in the confectionery industry. In total, ISM 2024 attracted around 30,000** visitors from more than 140 countries, and thanks to the expanded event program, exhibitors and visitors were able to benefit from additional networking opportunities.

ISM is not only a business platform, but also a central meeting point for product innovation and specialization projects. It not only fosters cooperation between different players, but also opens up new paths with the confectionery industry. More than 70% of visitors are international**. The most representative European countries are Belgium, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Ukraine. In addition to Europe, China, Israel, Japan, Canada and the United States have also seen significant growth.

The exhibiting companies appreciated the high quality of the visitors. Visitors included Auchan, Royal Ahod Del Haze Group, Kopp Supermarket, Edka Supermarket, Globus, Magnit, Mercadona, Migro Group, Imberry and Spa from Europe. The top 100 international food chain brands from outside Europe include: Aeon Group, Costco, CVS Health, E-Mart, JD.com, Kroger, Roblau, Sino-Ocean Walgreens and Walmart.

The next edition of ISM in Cologne, Germany, is scheduled to take place from February 2 to February 5, 2025. ProSweets will also be held at the same time again.
