A comparison of a couplet between Fuyang Temple and Fushan Academy

On the morning of February 7, 2024, under the guidance of Lin Minghui and Xiao Dengping, Quangang literary and historical workers, the author successively visited the Wenming Hall in Xilong Natural Village, Pioneer Village, Nanpu Town, Fuyang Temple in Liu Cuo Natural Village, and Fushan Academy in Shanxing, Xiaocuo Village.

Fuyang Temple has a wall couplet that says: The reason for teaching was born in the summer afternoon; After the road is bright, followed by late spring.

Fushan Academy has a pillar couplet that says: The place of teaching is due to the summer afternoon, and the road is followed by the late spring.

When the two are combined, the meaning of the expression is basically the same, but Fukuyama Academy's sentence is reduced by one word, which seems to be condensed, but in fact it is harmful to the joint meaning. So, why did Fukuyama Academy subtract the original couplet when writing the couplet? It's really puzzling.

It is understood that Fuyang Temple is located in Liu Cuo Natural Village, Pioneer Village, Nanpu Town, Quangang District, formerly known as "Qianting Temple", which was built in the late Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in 2014 and changed its name. Fushan Academy is located in Shanxing, Xiaocuo Village, Nanpu Town, Quangang District, which was founded in the ** period and was founded by Xiao Shunqian. In this way, there may be some movement between the two ancestral halls, and as for whether they are close or not, it needs to be verified by further visits.
