Take molten iron. Ploughshare, officially known as ploughshare, is one of the indispensable agricultural tools in human farming civilization. Due to the great differences in land types in different places, the size and shape of the ploughshare are also different. Yongba Village, Taishi Township, Kangxian County, located on the bank of the Rhino River, has a history of more than 300 years of traditional ploughshares, before the farming era and the popularization of new farming and sowing machinery, the ploughshares cast in Yongba Village were once exported to more than 20 counties in Shaanxi, Gansu and Sichuan provinces because of their reliable quality and diverse styles, and became famous. Under the leadership of the older generation of casters, the whole village has obtained a better economic income while being proficient in its skills. In 2015, this craft became the "Longnan Intangible Cultural Heritage Productive Protection Project".
Over the years, the amount of plough has become smaller and smaller, and the ancient skill of casting plough has gradually become useless. In December 2023, Yongba Village received a batch of orders, and the vacant land by the river at the head of the village was once again turned into a huge production workshop.
At five o'clock in the morning, the temperature on the banks of the Rhino River was as low as minus seven or eight degrees, and as the person in charge of the casting plough ignited the furnace, the roaring diesel engine drove the powerful blower, and the entire dam was on fire for a while. Mould support, iron burning, casting, demoulding, sorting, trimming, feeding, furnace, slag dialing, fire, plough ......Fifty or sixty people in the whole village went into battle, every step was crucial, everyone was orderly, with tacit understanding, and the lively and busy labor scene was quite spectacular.
