On the eve of the Spring Festival, the one-month Pudong New Area publicity and cultural development ** funded major brand project - "Light and Shadow with Love" barrier-free film screening & micro exhibition series of activities came to an end. Covering 22 venues in the city, 38 barrier-free screenings and 2 exhibitions attracted more than 25,000 citizens with visual impairments and aging groups to participate directly, adding a diverse and inclusive urban warmth to Shanghai before the Spring Festival.

The "Light and Shadow with Love" barrier-free film screening & micro-exhibition is guided by the Publicity, Culture and Sports Department of the Shanghai Disabled Persons' Federation, hosted by Shanghai Guava Culture Communication, Shanghai Urban Music Listening Culture Communication, Shanghai Yier Information Technology, and supported by Shanghai Zhangjiang Culture Holdings, Shanghai Mana Data Technology Development Association, Shanghai Film Co., Ltd., Shanghai Film Critics Society and other institutions.

With the development of the concept and technology of information accessibility in China, many enterprises, institutions, colleges and public welfare groups concerned about the disabled groups have begun to think about the application of accessibility in various fields, such as product design barrier-free, service barrier-free, environmental barrier-free, cultural and entertainment activities, and content barrier-free.

On the afternoon of February 5th, under the guidance of the Shanghai Employment Service Center for the Disabled, the "Love Without Hindrance" barrier-free theme workshop hosted by Shanghai Love and Hindrance Culture Media and Shanghai Xinhuigu Science and Technology Industrial Park and Chuangxing Space was held in the "Sunshine 201" of the Shanghai Employment Service Center for the Disabled.

The workshop introduced the relevant information of barrier-free environment construction from the aspects of cognition, business for good, and integrated employment of the disabled group, and led the participants into the world of the disabled group step by step, feeling their feelings and triggering thinking through handicap role-playing, theme sharing, barrier-free movie viewing experience and group co-creation. The event can allow the public from different industries, fields and ages to participate in it, and have a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation and future development trend of barrier-free environment construction, so as to work together to build a better barrier-free social environment.

The organizer, Shanghai Youai Wujian Culture Media***, is a resident enterprise of the "Sunshine 201" platform of the Shanghai Employment Service Center for the Disabled. Lian Jinwen, deputy director of the Shanghai Employment Service Center for the Disabled, said that the "Sunshine 201" platform has always adhered to integrating the employment service work for the disabled into the pulse of urban development, striving to create a platform for resource convergence and image display, and finding market-oriented and viable cooperation projects suitable for the participation of the disabled in exchanges and collisions. The format of barrier-free workshops can better connect different industries and explore more possibilities in the future.

In the theme sharing session, Song Jingjing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of CBN, Yang Jiehua, head of corporate citizenship in Greater China of Accenture Consulting, and Han Dongxue, founder of Shanghai Love and No Hindrance Media, Yier Technology and Guava Culture, respectively stood in the perspective of the industry in which they are located, from the perspective of business goodness and diversity and inclusion, integrated employment and social responsibility, barrier-free awareness and group situation, etc., to show everyone the current situation of barrier-free environment construction and groups, so that the partners present can deepen their understanding of barrier-free and disabled groups. Break the stereotype that only people with disabilities need to be accessible, and the needs of people with disabilities are different from those of able-bodied people, and rethink how to participate in the action of building an inclusive society to the best of our ability.

In the group co-creation session, through role-playing with visual, auditory, and physical disabilities, participants in the discussion with the limited state of the impairment type, and imagined the challenges and dilemmas that the impairment type may encounter in daily life, analyzed the problems that the impairment partner may encounter in different scenarios, and found practical solutions. Everyone experienced the way and state of people with disabilities in communication and even social integration, and thought about how to fully display their creativity and imagination from their own and social perspectives, further feel the real situation of different groups of people with disabilities in the role experience and communication, understand and respect the needs and differences of different groups, and arouse the enthusiasm for building an equal and barrier-free environment. In the end, the four groups co-created solutions to issues such as free access to barrier-free services, accessibility technology and Internet services for travel and other scenarios, and barrier-free design of clothing, blind canes and other products by participating in barrier-free volunteer services.
