The Buddha said, "Give this food to your parents!" ”

I remember that year when disasters were rampant, and countless people lost their lives due to hunger. One day, Shizun led the ** people to leave the temple and go out to make a fortune, but a whole morning passed, and no one gave a grain of rice. The Lord had no choice but to return with an empty bowl. The second day, the third day, still nothing.

Just when one of the monks saw the world-honored one's ugly face, he couldn't help but step forward and ask with concern, "Venerable Master, have you eaten anything today?" The Lord replied helplessly, "Hey, I haven't gotten a bite of food for three days in a row. Hearing this, the bhikshu burst into tears. So he resolutely decided to ** his monk's robe and waist scarf, bought a bowl of rice, and hurried to the Buddha. The Buddha pretended not to know and asked, "Bhikkhu! Where did this bowl of rice come from, so white and delicious? The bhikshu sincerely explained the reason to the World-Honored One.

The Buddha sighed with emotion: "These three pieces of clothing are the treasures of the Buddhas of the past, symbolizing the supreme identity and dignity, and I really can't accept that you are willing to exchange them for a meal." The monk asked rhetorically, "Since even you, as the blessed field of the Three Realms, cannot bear such a favor, then who else can?" The Buddha smiled and explained, "Bhikkhu, bring this bowl of rice to your parents." "But how can my parents afford it, if even you feel that it is a burden? The Buddha still said calmly, "Of course they can bear it!" Our parents gave birth to and raised us**, and their kindness to us was as deep as the mountains, so they were able to bear this bowl of rice. Have you ever thought about it, maybe as soon as your parents taste this rice, they are likely to develop a faith in Buddhism. ”

So, according to the Buddha's words, the bhikshu respectfully carried the rice in the direction of his parents' house.
